Animals have
allergies as well. Every day substances such as pollen, animal
dander, mold spores, etc will deprive your dog from a
healthy
living. The
most common signs a dog will show when having an allergic
reaction are face rubbing, biting, scratching, and chewing the
skin. Most allergies are inherited but they can be prevented by
avoiding the causes thereof. A physical examination and taking
some lab tests might help. Dogs can be allergic to food as
well.
Besides being
allergic to things dogs can also make others allergic to them.
The most common allergic reactions are the ones caused by cats.
Cats, especially those with short hair, give off more allergen.
Some of the signs of pet allergy are hay
fever,
eye symptoms, asthma, and nettle rash. Washing your pet, at least
once a month, it’s said to reduce allergens in the home.
